CHENMED
Our founding partner in the U.S.A. is ChenMed, which started in South Florida under the leadership of Dr. James & Mary Chen. When sons Chris and Gordon joined the practice, the clinics continued their national expansion and accelerated the international component by making Nicaragua Medical Missions the organization's lead humanitarian project. ChenMed clinics include Chen Medical Centers and Jencare Medical Centers throughout the United States.

AMOS HEALTH & HOPE
Our primary partner on the ground in Nicaragua is Amos Health & Hope, founded by Dr. David Parajon and his wife, Dr. Laura Parajon. The organization is led by Dr. Gabriella Woo and her amazing staff of medical providers and health care workers. Amos runs a clinic for their neighborhood, Nejapa, and specializes in community-based primary health care: training and positioning medical specialists in the most remote areas of the country.

AMOS' CAMPUS
Nejapa, Nicaragua
Nicaragua Medical Missions has been a primary partner in establishing a long-term campus for AMOS Health & Hope in the barrio of Nejapa, Nicaragua. From this location on the northern edge of the capital, Amos provides care for nearly three dozen communities in the most remote parts of Nicaragua. The main campus includes group housing for up to eighty people, king-size guestrooms with private bathrooms, full kitchen, and comfortable dining room. Recent additions to the campus include two modern air-conditioned conference rooms (air conditioning is also an option in the guesthouses and private guestrooms.) The complex also hosts a community clinic and the administrative resources Amos needs to accomplish its far-reaching mission.
